Built in 1898, this historic Denver Square was designed around preserving the charm our clients loved while creating a home that worked for modern family life. Having moved from Brooklyn, they appreciated the craftsmanship of older homes and wanted to celebrate details like the original woodwork, pocket doors, and architectural character.
We blended historic elements with the clients’ eclectic style through thoughtful updates, including a modernized kitchen with encaustic tile flooring, a bold orange and coral primary bathroom, and layered spaces filled with art and personality. A custom kitchen banquette, cozy reading room, and entertaining spaces were designed around how the family actually lives.
The result is a home that honors its history while feeling vibrant, collected, and completely personal.
