Katherine Schroder
Owner / Principal Designer, Atelier Interior Design
Katherine founded Atelier Interior Design in Denver Colorado in 2005. Atelier was built on Katherine’s life long passion for great design experienced through extensive travel overseas and experimental projects for various eager volunteers.
Katherine received her formal education in interior design at Arapahoe Community College and earned a bachelor degree in Behavioral and Political Science from Metropolitan State College.
Sales and design assistance at the Denver Design District’s showroom, Charles Eisen, honed Katherine’s skill and intuitive eye for scale and proportion in the furniture realm. This experience gave her a deeper understanding of the business aspect of the design world as well. Recently Katherine has held the honor of participating in the DDD’s Design Connection, Denver’s most prestigious group of professional interior designers.
While working as a designer at O-Interiors Katherine knew she was ready to go out on her own after completing several projects as the lead designer.
In conjunction with two other designers Katherine’s design team won HGTV’s Designer’s Challenge, a very intense, interactive and competitive reality design show.
Other notoriety’s include publication in Colorado Homes and Livestyles, The Denver Post and Luxe Magazine.
Erika Rundiks
Owner / Principal Designer, ASID Allied Member
For the past ten years Erika has worked for diverse companies on a wide range of projects. While consulting for a Denver Architectural firm Erika has designed numerous commercial, interior projects and developed solid working relationships with the architectural and contract team. As a residential designer Erika’s passion is to create functional, exceptional and lasting design. The foundation of Erika’s career is her Bachelor of Science, in Interior Design degree from Colorado State University. In addition to her education and experience Erika has an innate eye for balance and proportion, resulting in harmonious interiors that maximize color, texture and lighting. World travel, which includes a two-year Peace Corps stint in the Republic of Vanuatu, has been influential in expanding Erika’s design vision.
