Urban Loft

This hard-edged box was softened and brought to life via a diverse world of themes. The homeowner is a young Norwegian bachelor/father who allowed us to mesh contemporary with Moroccan, Indonesian, Japanese and European influences resulting in an amalgamation that is globally chic.

The bones are brick, glass, wood and stainless. International patterns were our inspiration. We conveyed an invitation to relax regardless of who you are. Not only do worlds collide here but so do the masculine and feminine. The structured sofa is softened by plush velvet. Massive windows are framed by cascading linen drapes with grommets and tassels. The moody black chandelier hovers above the sculpted table. The Moroccan lounge area is ensconced in leather, layered light, lavish pillows an elaborate inlaid table and a baroque mirror.

No need to travel when home is such a universal display of comfort and great taste.
