Revived yet relaxed is how you feel after a treatment at Voodoo Hair Lounge. The vibe is funky, chill and very down to earth just like the owners. How do you achieve a space that exudes those elements? Try a lot of chemistry. Warm meets cool on the color spectrum. Dramatic lighting that in one instance is very Art Deco and the next organic and alien with an overall soft effect. It’s the juxtapositions in color, texture and genre that create such a dynamic space.
Although the primary use of the salon space is for hair styling it also acts as social forum. The open malleable plan is great for parties and gatherings where the latest fashion, du and general trend can be found. The front of the house is where guests are met and acts as an important designated area. We enjoy Boulder projects because the culture is very open-minded, energized and intellectual.
